This year, we’re taking the celebration to the Main Campus East Lawn (right next to the Convocation Center) to spotlight our newly united university — UT-San Antonio, the powerful merger of UTSA and UT Health San Antonio!

Swag & Spirit: Celebrate the New UT San Antonio

Join us at the Sombrilla as we mark the merger of UTSA and UT Health San Antonio with a pop-up featuring free t-shirts, exclusive swag, and interactive photo opportunities. Stop by our booth designed to spark creativity, school spirit and celebrate the launch of the new UT San Antonio. Open to all students, faculty and staff—come early, supplies are limited!

First Year Mentor Meet Up

First-year students are invited to kick off their UTSA journey by meeting their Academic Inquiry and Scholarship (AIS) or University Peer Mentorship (UPM) mentors and connecting with new classmates. Build friendships, explore campus, and take your first steps toward finding your place in the Roadrunner community.

Roadrunner Pantry Mobile Distribution

Location: Guadalupe Hall Parking Lot
You can focus better when you’re not hungry. Each month during long semesters, the San Antonio Food Bank and Roadrunner Pantry host a free mobile food distribution. Drive-through and walk-up options are available, and volunteers will help load your vehicle or cart.

Howdy Rowdy Bash

Location: Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Howdy Rowdy Bash will be held at Six Flags Fiesta Texas and is exclusive to the UTSA community. Enjoy access to rides, games, music, and fun. Your ticket purchase includes access to Howdy Rowdy Bash plus an additional Six Flags Fiesta Texas entry ticket for use anytime in September. Tickets are $35 plus tax.
UTSA Volleyball vs Stephen F. Austin

Get loud and proud at Roadrunner Arena as UTSA volleyball takes on Stephen F. Austin! Join fellow students for a high-energy match, cheer on your team, and experience what Roadrunner spirit is all about.
